About

My interests are all things Homemaking: gardening, sewing, cooking and baking, nesting; and all things Learning: travel, culture, language, reading. This blog reflects a bit of all of that… and a bit more.

I appreciate beauty and love creating a gracious life and home. But I am NOT a consumer in the traditional sense, so everything I do is with something found, acquired, remade, or made up. I’m also committed to “living green” as much as possible. Hence, I start from scratch, I compost, I even save tinfoil. And sometimes I dumpster dive! It’s fun creating a home and life this way, rather than buying new things “everyone else” has. And it’s even MORE fun- and inspiring- sharing ideas!
